About Us
The Temple of the Inner Self™ is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the evolution of human consciousness. We are an interfaith spiritual community whose Mission is "Global Evolution through Personal Transformation of Consciousness." Our core teaching is that God dwells within the human Heart, and every human being can experience Enlightenment through the Path of Love and Devotion. We are a Temple offering all the sacrements of a traditional spiritual community, as well as a repository of Ancient and Ageless Wisdom from the mystical traditions of the East and West. While our Spiritual Path traces its heritage back to pre-recorded history in ancient India, our instructional programs incorporate spiritual practices from many different traditions and include meditation, metaphysics, Eastern philosophy, yoga, the Western Mystery Teachings, energy healing, mysticism, shamanic healing, affirmative prayer and devotional chanting. Our path is open to everyone. We teach that Union with God is personal, subjective and direct, and is uniquely experienced by each individual Soul. Munishwarji Bayazid Walking Tall is the Spiritual Head of The Temple of the Inner Self. Munishwarji is a Master Teacher and Master Healer. Munishwarji is Devotee of his Spiritual Mentor, Samyama, and a Head Trainer of the Karttikeyan Yogic Method. In addition to his many years of studying Yoga as a Spiritual Path, Munishwarji is an Initiate in the Sufi Order. With over 18 years of experience in the field of meditation, holistic health and healing, Munishwarji has dedicated his life to helping people live in greater joy, happiness and abundance. He assists people of all faiths to realize their full spiritual and human potential.
Our Community Relocates to New Buckhead Facility
The Temple of the Inner Self (formerly Mahavatar Babaji Ashram) has moved to a newly renovated 2,200 sq. ft. facility in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. Our new property is a beautiful two-story cottage located at 2964 Hardman Court, Atlanta, GA 30305.
